A product built out of a thesis.
Sparqbox started as a year of research at TU Eindhoven into how 50 different companies actually select ideas at the front-end of innovation. The conclusion was obvious and uncomfortable: almost none of them had a real system. We built the product the research said should exist.
Sparqbox is structured idea evaluation for SMBs. Employees submit ideas through guided forms; AI scores them first against weighted criteria; humans review independently; every submitter gets feedback. Founded in 2026 by Dennis Jacobs in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

The year I stopped believing in suggestion boxes.
I spent a year at TU Eindhoven benchmarking how 50 different companies select ideas. Some were great. Most were guessing. Almost none had a consistent method. The ideas that made it through weren’t always the best ones. They were the ones with the loudest sponsor.
I wrote a thesis about what a structured alternative would look like: weighted criteria per category, AI-assisted first review, mandatory feedback so submitters never feel ignored. Then I realised the tool I’d described didn’t exist. So I built it.
Sparqbox is that tool. It’s opinionated about how ideas get evaluated because the research is opinionated. And it ships with every feature you need to replace a suggestion box on the first day, not the fortieth.

Three things that shaped the product.
Collecting ideas is cheap. Deciding on them is not.
Popular ideas aren’t always the right ideas.
Every submitter deserves an answer.
From a spoken idea to a decision your team respects.
An employee submits an idea through a guided form. AI does a first review against your weighted criteria. Coordinators score independently. The weighted total fires an automatic decision, and the submitter gets a real answer with reasons. No silence, no committee stalling, no lost threads.
Headquartered in the Netherlands. Built in public. EU-first.
All infrastructure runs in the EU (Frankfurt). Product decisions are made in the Netherlands. Customer data never leaves the union. We’re a small team with one priority: shipping the product that the research said should exist, and iterating with early customers while it’s still shapeable.
Every idea deserves an answer.
Give your team the one thing a suggestion box never will: a real decision, every time.
